Another consignment of medical vehicles from the Kingdom of Spain has recently arrived in Ukraine.

This time, 15 ambulances were handed over as humanitarian aid. The vehicles were again distributed among several law enforcement agencies. In particular, the border guard agency received 10 cars to transport the sick and wounded soldiers.

Modern equipment is installed in the vehicles, including defibrillators, cardiographs and other medical devices. In addition, the vehicles contained almost 2 tons of various drugs.

In total, the Spanish community sent 30 medical vehicles to Ukraine; 24 were received by the State Border Guard Service.

No less valuable, though symbolic, was a gift from the daughter of one of Spanish friends, who was delivering humanitarian aid. In support of Ukrainian soldiers, the girl named Andrea presented a drawing with the national symbols of Ukraine.

It is worth noting that on the way back, Spanish medics will take 8 Ukrainian soldiers who were wounded in the combat for treatment and rehabilitation. Another 16 border guards were taken to Spain for treatment by doctors the day before.

The vehicles were provided and delivered as part of a campaign run by the CaixaBank Volunteer Association, the Messengers of Peace Association, and the Santa Clara Monastery Foundation, with the direct participation of Sister Lucia, the head of the charity.

We are truly grateful to the Spanish people!

Together to victory!
