Servicemen of the Mukachevo Border Guard Detachment prevented the illegal movement of tobacco smuggling across the Ukrainian-Romanian border.

During the patrolling, the border guard of the Dilove Border Guard Division noticed unknown people carrying packages wrapped in polyethylene on their shoulders towards the border.

The smugglers ignored the legal demands of the servicemen, ignored even the warning shots, and in the end only left their burdens and fled.

The criminals planned to transport 4,500 packs of cigarettes without excise stamps across the border.

The tobacco products were delivered to the border unit, which will later be handed over to customs officers.
