Servicemen of Lviv Border Gurad Detachment prevented three illegal border crossings within a 24-hour period, all apprehended individuals found to be of conscription age

Border guards of Shehyni Border Guard Division spotted four unknown individuals disembarking a vehicle and heading towards the state border. The violators were soon apprehended and identified as men aged 31 to 41 from Kharkiv region.

Another offender, a 40-year-old resident of Lviv region, was detained by border guards of the same unit a few hundred meters from the state border based on information provided by a local resident.

Another violator was apprehended by border guards of Nismychi Border Guard Division. During a routine check of a vehicle, which was carrying a passenger, a 37-year-old resident of Poltava region, the man admitted that he intended to illegally enter Poland as he had no legitimate grounds to cross the border.

All detainees were taken to border guard units for verification and prosecution. They will then be brought to court to face charges.
