As it was announced, yesterday at approximately 12.20 hrs militants fired at the positions of “Mariinka” checkpoint controlled by border guards and members of Ukrainian Armed Forces. Militants fired more than 20 shots using sniper's weapons; also they shelled from Oleksandrivka again. There were no casualties among Ukrainian soldiers.

During the day border guards of Donetsk and Luhansk border detachments observed 3 UAVs, which pro-Russian mercenaries use for aerial reconnaissance; 2 of which were observed in Mariupol direction, and one UAV – near Krasna Talivka. The appropriate units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were reported to.

Border guards of Luhansk border detachment detained a citizen of Ukraine who was on the wanted list and in 2011 was convicted of committing crimes. The man was moving to Zolote and was identified by border patrol at “Lysychansk” checkpoint during documents verification due to access to the database. The detainee was given to the National Police of Ukraine.

Besides, border guards of Kramatorsk border detachment detained three vehicles with food and seeds weighing above 3 tons at “Svitlodarske” and “Rozivka” checkpoints. The trucks were going to the “DRR”-controlled area beyond the government-controlled checkpoints. The goods estimated approximately 130000 UAH were given to joint mobile group.

Border guards of Donetsk border detachment and officials of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine detained two more trucks carrying construction materials and mining equipment without appropriate documents at “Novotroiitske” entry-exit checkpoint. The goods worth about 120000 UAH were confiscated.

Three cars carrying consumer goods violated the established rules and were apprehended by border guards of Luhansk border detachment near Shchastia. MAN, KamAZ and Volvo trucks were carrying sunflower seeds and soft drinks valued at 140000 UAH. All vehicles were given to the officials of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine to take legal measures.
