Since the beginning of January 2022, the State Border Guard Service has allowed more than 1 million people to cross the border.

About 265,000 of them were registered by border guards at the capital's Boryspil and Kyiv (Zhulyany) BCPs. Almost the same number of people crossed the border in both directions.

During the border control measures, the border guards did not allow almost 700 foreigners and about 300 citizens of Ukraine. Most of them did not have properly executed documents, or tried to use invalid or forged documents.

Also, since the beginning of the year, Ukrainian border guards have carried out 52 operations based on the Interpol database, concerning 14 people and 38 passport documents.
