Border guards summed up the results of the first decade of the festive January.

In total, since the beginning of 2021, 400,000 people and more than 95,000 vehicles have been subjected to border control.

Also, during the border control measures, more than 400 people were denied access by the State Border Guard Service, of which more than 100 are potential illegal migrants.

In addition, 3 attempts were made by citizens to use forged documents, another 25 people tried to go through  border control over invalid documents.

Border guards also found 9 weapons, 47 ammunition items, more than 1.5 kg of psychotropic substances, goods worth more than UAH 200,000 and 5 specially made hiding places for their movement.
