SHKVAL is a kind of border guard special force designed to perform special tasks. Its main mission is to protect the state border of Ukraine.

Repulsing armed conflicts at the border, fighting against sabotage and reconnaissance groups, terrorist acts, provocations by illegal armed groups, counteraction to smuggling, all the most difficult tasks is the sphere of responsibility of the Rapid Response Border Command - SHKVAL.

SHKVAL is a kind of border guard special force designed to perform special tasks. Its main mission is to protect the state border of Ukraine.

The unit was created with the beginning of combat actions in the east of the country and is ready to perform tasks both for the protection of the state border and in the area of ​​the Joint Forces Operation.

The Border Command consists of artillery, air defence, mortar and anti-tank units, which can destroy enemy air forces, artillery, armoured vehicles and provide support to other units in the event of an illegal invasion.

To reliably protect the border, SHKVAL fighters are constantly improving their combat training and are always ready to perform the most difficult tasks.

It should be noted that the Border Command was established in accordance with the order of the Administration of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine in June 2015 on the basis of the Canine Training Center.

So, for 6 years the border guard special unit SHKVAL has been guarding the state borders.
