As reported, recently in Kyiv region border guards stopped the scheme of illegal sale of off-road vehicles.

The scheme was exposed by officers of the Main Operational and Investigative Department of the Separate BCP «Kyiv» together with detectives of the Bureau of Economic Security, with the support of the border mobile unit «Dozor».   

Law enforcement officers found that the dealers imported cars to Ukraine under the guise of humanitarian aid for NGOs and military units. However, later they sold the vehicles on one of the car lots of the capital, popular Internet platforms and telegram channels. 

In total, law enforcement officers seized 7 vehicles, including: Nissan Navara, Mitsubishi L200, Volkswagen LT 35, Nissan np 300, Hyundai Terracan, Nissan Pathfinder, Ford Ranger.

The participants of this scam, citizens of Ukraine, were notified of being suspected.
