During the document check of a 41-year-old Moldovan citizen who was traveling to Ukraine through the "Mamalyga" border crossing point, the Interpol database was triggered.

Border guards established that the foreigner is internationally wanted for arrest and extradition to Romania to face criminal charges related to fraud.

The border guards informed the relevant authorities and handed over the wanted individual to the National Police.
