The hidden 240 packs of cigarettes were found today on the border with Hungary by border guards of the Mukachevo Detachment together with customs officers.

At the Dzvinkove BCP, during an in-depth inspection of a 1999 BMW, which our 20-year-old citizen was leaving for Ukraine, a border guard service dog was activated.

The four-legged assistant, sniffing the engine of a foreign car, was worried, which helped the border detail to find a specially made hiding place with tobacco. In order not to reveal the hiding place, the Ukrainian put cotton pads soaked in cologne between the cigarettes.

The detected tobacco products were confiscated together with the car. The amount of the assessment of smuggling and the vehicle is set.
