During his visit to the positions of border guards defending Ukraine in the hottest spots on the front line, the Head of the Border Guard Agency visited the mobile field hospital of the State Border Guard Service.

He was accompanied by MP Pavlo Sushko, who also came to support the border guards who are defending Ukraine.

Serhii Deineko familiarized himself with the work of doctors and medical staff and presented awards to the medics working in close proximity to the front line.

He wished the personnel a Happy New Year.

 “We hope and believe that 2024 will be the year of our Victory. The year when we liberate the entire territory of Ukraine, reach the internationally recognized borders and move on to our core duty – the protection of the state border of Ukraine. I thank you for your noble work: you save people, the lives of our soldiers, and you do it professionally. Without you, it would be impossible to work on the front line. Thank you for being real, thank you, girls, for not avoiding but helping our soldiers; thank you, men, for not running away but defending your country. You are the best ones!” – Serhii Deineko addressed the defenders of Ukraine.

The Head of the State Border Guard Service also awarded the best border guards of the Kharkiv Detachment who defend Ukraine in the Bakhmut direction.

During the trip to the front line together with representatives of the Parliament, generals and officers from various government agencies, Serhii Deineko held meetings with the heads of border guard units, inspected the provision of the defenders with everything necessary to perform combat tasks, and also conveyed words of gratitude from the President of Ukraine and the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

 “It is a great honor for me to meet the New Year together with you, my brothers and sisters. I am proud of the State Border Guard Service. I wish you success. I am proud to be a border guard.” - People’s Deputy of Ukraine, member of the SBGSU collegium Pavlo Sushko addressed the bravest soldiers.
