The foreigners were taken to the border guard unit for verification activities and to make a legal decision and bring the offenders to justice.

Border guards of the Lutsk BG detachment detained two men who illegally entered the territory of Ukraine from Belarus. Two unknown men, who were moving from the Ukrainian-Belarusian border, were noticed by the border patrol of Svitiaz BG division near the Pishcha BCP. Border guards immediately detained the travellers and found out that one of them was a citizen of the Republic of Belarus, the other – of the Russian Federation. The men had their passports, but decided to cross the border illegally. In addition, the detainees confessed that in the future they planned to continue their journey illegally to the EU countries as well.
