Three Romanian citizens who illegally crossed the state border on the Danube River were detained by border guards of the Izmail Detachment.

Noticing the movement of two Romanian motor vessels at the Ukrainian mouth, a border patrol serving on a floating module immediately started the detention procedure. The Romanians explained to the border guards that they were lost, but law enforcement officers noticed that one of the vessels had a navigation device.

Border guards drew up reports on administrative offenses on this fact. The sanction of this article provides for the imposition of a fine of five hundred to eight hundred non-taxable minimum incomes, with confiscation of weapons and means of committing an offense.

Whether foreigners will keep their vessels will be decided by the court.
