The season of picking wild berries and mushrooms begins in Polissya. In this regard, border guards warn citizens against violations and non-compliance with existing restrictions imposed during martial law.

Recently, the border committee of the republic of belarus announced that Ukrainians from certain districts of Rivne region were allowed to visit forests in the Olman Swamps landscape reserve to collect berries. This decision was made unilaterally and it is an open provocation, because there were no agreements with a related party, as it happened before. Temporary places of simplified crossing of the state border will not function.

Every year, the Ukrainian side took the initiative on access operations and bilateral agreements. And since belarus supports russia's aggression against Ukraine, the security of our citizens in the neighboring country is under threat.

The population is currently prohibited from visiting forests and entering them (except for transit routes) by vehicles and other self-propelled vehicles, except for a certain category of people. The use of photo and video equipment, including video recorders, is prohibited at the border, in particular, photos and videos of roads, infrastructure, checkpoints, fortifications, etc., as well as the location, concentration or movement of military units of defense forces are prohibited.

In addition, it is prohibited any movement of civilians in the area directly adjacent to the state border, 1000 meters wide, except for the territory of settlements directly adjacent to the state border.

All citizens, being in the border zone and the controlled border area, are obliged to have documents proving their identity and at the first request of border guards to provide them for verification.

Also in the border area it is forbidden:

- the movement of persons and vehicles, carrying out of all types of works out of settlements from 22.00 in the evening till 05.00 in the morning (or during curfew);

- transportation of weapons and any means of active defense in vehicles;

- wearing a military uniform by the civilian population;

- use of any aircraft;

- hunting, fishing and swimming in reservoirs of all types of vessels.

In connection with the above, border guards warn citizens to be careful and cautious and not to neglect these prohibitions in order to save lives and health.

Citizens who violate certain requirements will be prosecuted in accordance with current legislation of Ukraine.
