In the conditions of everyday combat operations border guards don't forget about the elements of combat preparation.

Training sessions, drills, and practical exercises in various combat situations are constantly conducted with the military personnel who arrive to reinforce the border units in Donetsk region. Border guards hone their skills in handling available weapons and equipment. Everything is practiced here: from sight adjustment to practical shooting.

Also, the course of the war forces to pay special attention to knowledge of tactics of conducting combat in urban areas. Assaults and building retention, movement through city streets, rules for selecting positions, firing using natural cover - this is far from a complete list of what border guards have to master in order to effectively perform combat missions.

This time, instead of traditional grades such as "good" or "excellent," military personnel received the rating "ready to destroy the enemy" from the leadership based on the results of the training sessions.
