The issue of interaction is particularly acute when reflecting and deterring Russian armed aggression, since the success of achieving the goals set depends on unity and coherence in the tactics of joint actions.

Thus, the other day, under the leadership of the Head of the Eastern Regional Department, Colonel Valerii Vavryniuk, with the participation of the Command of the United Forces, operational-tactical groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard of Ukraine, interaction between border detachments from the United Forces was organized. As part of the measures to organize operational and service activities in 2021, the leadership of the Donetsk, Kramatorsk, Luhansk Border Detachments and units from other components of the United Forces worked out the issues of joint action in the field.

In each of the areas of responsibility of the border detachments, the tasks of repelling the enemy’s armed aggression are coordinated. Tactical properties of the terrain and the position of objects located on it have been clarified directly on the territory. And during the meeting the general operational situation was presented, the main threats from the Russian-occupational forces and the general procedure for joint protection and defense of the boundary line were defined.

The participants of the meeting also specified the procedure for detecting persons who attempt to cross the boundary line outside the established by the entry/exit checkpoints and for handing them over to the border guard units in order to find out the circumstances of the violation.

Practical development of interaction issues helps to acquire the ability to carry out the tasks of repelling and deterring Russian armed aggression in the area of operation of the United Forces in a systematic and effective manner.
