The peculiarity of the exercise is its combination with the general scenario of strategic command and staff training with the designation of troops “United_Effort_2021”. In addition, multinational units will be established during the exercise events, as all units of foreign countries are to be integrated into Ukrainian battalions and all exercises will be conducted by joint multinational battalions.

On behalf of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the border guards of rapid response border command of the Ismail Border Guard Detachment of the Southern Regional Directorate will take part in the exercise.

For the first time, a subdivision of the State Border Guard Service will not act as part of the formation, but is to be represented by an independent unit. In this way, border guards will be able to perform tasks both independently in the area of ​​responsibility and together with units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations and law enforcement agencies.
