Training of servicemen of the Canine Training Centre of the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine took place within the framework of preparation for the Rapid Trident - 2020 international exercise.

Training of servicemen of the Canine Training Centre of the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine took place within the framework of preparation for the Rapid Trident - 2020 international exercise.

The Personnel Department of SBGS Administration organized a set of measures for proper early preparation of the consolidated unit involved in the "Joint Multinational Training Group - Ukraine".

Trainings were held for two weeks at the International Centre for Peacekeeping and Security of the Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi National Army Academy.

During this time, the servicemen underwent a full range of combat training, beginning with individual training for every single fighter and ending with the coordination of live fire using all the regular weapons of the unit. It is worth noting that officers of the rapid response unit directorate and instructors of the National Academy of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine learned to plan combat operations in accordance with NATO procedures. The terminology, classification and symbols of the Alliance armies are fully used.

Attention was also drawn to the study of terminology in English. After all, during the active phase of the Rapid Trident, the troops will be managed in English, as about 4,000 servicemen from nearly ten countries will take part in the exercises. The training will start tomorrow and will last until September 25, 2020.
