Within the framework of cooperation between the Agency for Radiation Safety of the Kingdom of Norway and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, border guards received a batch of assistance that will increase the autonomy of border units, including the departmental radiation monitoring system.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Norwegian partners have provided the Ukrainian Border Guard Service with generators and related auxiliary equipment. In total, 236 generators with a total capacity of more than 3 thousand kilowatts were delivered.

These generators are distributed among the border guard units and will help to balance the life support system and the necessary sustainability, especially in winter.

The successful implementation of joint projects with the Radiation Safety Agency of the Kingdom of Norway is a continuation of the long history of cooperation in the field of radiation and nuclear safety, which is increasing every year due to the increase in relevant risks and threats in the world and the region.
