On September 9, 2021, the Republic of Poland added Ukrainian citizens to the category of persons allowed to enter the country, including for tourism purposes.

Certain restrictions remain in place, but the 10-day quarantine period is reduced if there is a negative SARS-Cov-2 test result not earlier than the 7-day period from entry into Poland.

    Particular attention should be paid to the fact that the ending of quarantine is considered to be the presence in the teleinformation system a record of a negative test result, made by the diagnostic laboratory.

     The same rules apply to children crossing the EU's external border to enter Poland.

     The following are exempted from the obligation to remain in quarantine after crossing the EU external border:

      • vaccinated against COVID-19 (if there is an English / Polish documentary evidence of a full course of vaccination with a vaccine registered in the EU - Pfizer, Moderna, Astra-Zeneca, Jonson & Jonson);

     • persons who became ill with COVID-19 (if there is documentary evidence);

     • defined in § 3 of the Regulations of the Ministers Council  on the establishment of restrictions and prohibitions connected with the epidemic (drivers and crew members of aircraft, railways, ships and vehicles, inspectors of the maritime administration, students + accompanying person, students, listeners, postgraduates) , doctoral students, diplomats, doctors, agricultural workers, athletes + coaches, doctors, physiotherapists, judges, accredited journalists who enter Poland to participate in sports events, persons who have a permanent residence permit or a long-term resident card EU member states + members of their families entering Poland for transit through its territory).
