At the Maiorske Entry/Exit Check Point, operational officials of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine initiated a further search of the DeuLanos car, driven by a Ukrainian citizen, which arrived from an uncontrolled territory.

During the second line check among the driver’s personal belongings (in a tin of a car body mix), law enforcement officers together with the State Security Service officials, who act together in the Joint Forces, revealed two parcels with dark brown substance weighing about 740 grams, which looked like plastid explosives.

There is an investigation into this case. The driver and its car are detained. Law enforcement officers are investigating for what purpose the citizen transported explosives. It is possible that in this way pro-Russian mercenaries are preparing possible terrorist actions on the territory of Ukraine.

From a technical point of view, the most accurate definition is the term “plastid explosive”. The word “plastid” to name explosives of this type is used mostly by mistake as a spoken word. This type of explosive is usually more expensive than the traditional one, so it is not used for projectile production; instead, its range of application is military and engineering, mostly to undermine structures.

According to this fact, it has been reported on the detected criminal offense under Part 1 of Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine "Illegal Handling of Weapons, Ammunition or Explosives" to the Police Department of the National Police Headquarters in Donetsk region.
