Recently, group of businessmen from Zhytomyr region and members of public visited border guards serving in Chernigiv region

Guests visited checkpoint equipped by border guards and the international automobile BCP "Hremiyach”.   They also had a look at the service conditions of law enforcement. Being accompanied by the Head of the Northern Regional Directorate, Igor Tokovyi, and the Board of the district administration and the district council, guests went to visit one of the border guard units.

Besides, they collected a considerable humanitarian aid to support national movement of providing assistance for border guards. It included 3.5 tons of buckwheat, almost 11 thousand eggs, 400 kg of beef, 125 kg of cookies, 105 kg of honey and 100 kg of butter. The total cost of charity care amounted to more than 60 thousand UAH.

Also, servicemen who are currently guarding the state border were presented encouraging awards, by the head of the Northern Regional Directorate, Igor Tokovyi and head of Chernihiv frontier Alexander Ptycya.

Guests were invited to have dinner made in field kitchens and improvised mini-concert.

In general, charitable material support received at the moment by the Agency, in monetary terms, amounted to more than 2.7 million. In addition, citizens transfer more than 2.6 million UAH to the Agency’s account.
