Persons, who may be involved in illegal movement of citizens across the border were exposed by the operative units of the Belgorod and Dniester border guard detachment.

Under the procedural guidance of the Odesa Region Prosecutor's Office representatives of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine and the State Bureau of Investigation, conducted searches at the residences of those involved in the criminal proceedings.

The persons are suspected of illegally transporting men of draft age to Moldova in the area of ​​the transit road ‘Odesa-Reni’, as well as of using forged documents.

As a result of the searches, the law enforcement officers have seized different weapons, almost 14,000 US dollars, mobile phones and documents that can confirm the involvement of persons in illegal activities.

All those involved have been charged with a criminal offense punishable by up to nine years in prison.
