Such agreements were reached during a meeting at the level of the Ministries of infrastructure and the Border guards and Customs offices of Ukraine and the Republic of Poland.

The meeting took place at the BCP Dorohusk as part of the “Open Border” working group.

The parties discussed the procedure for joint measures to increase the capacity of the BCP Yahodyn-Dorogusk.

In order to speed up the passage of trucks through the border and reduce the queues in front of this BCP, it was decided that from June 27 this year at the BCP Yagodyn-Dorohusk will be introduced registration of trucks only. At the same time, vehicles with a full weight of up to 7.5 tons and cars will be redirected to other BCP.

Separate lanes will be allocated for the movement of empty trucks.

Regular buses will also pass through BCP Yahodyn. Their registration at this BCP will be carried out until the reconstruction and construction of the BCP Krakivets is completed.

In addition, the meeting discussed a few issues related to the work of control services and the provision of the necessary technical means for the inspection of transport.

The possibility of organizing a joint inspection at road and railway BCP was also considered.
