He noted that on this day, Ukraine honors the bravery of Ukrainian soldiers who have changed the situation in the Black Sea in favor of our country and international order.

"The battle for the Black Sea is still ongoing, but we can already be sure that Russia will not win this battle. Ukrainians have not allowed the enemy to use the Black Sea as a springboard for assaults and attacks against our southern regions," he emphasized.

Volodymyr Zelensky reminded everyone that the liberation of Snake Island allowed Ukraine to regain control of the western part of the Black Sea's waters.

"They are gradually destroying the Russian fleet with our naval drones and missiles. Our operations in the Black Sea are gradually reaching more distant borders," added the Head of State.

According to him, Ukraine's alternative "grain corridor" is also the achievement of those who develop and test Ukrainian weapons, including naval drones, defend Ukrainian ports and ships, demine the sea in the corridors crucial for global food security.

In particular, servicemen representing the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine received three of the President's awards, the "Cross of Combat Merit," the "Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky" of the third degree, the "For Valor" of the third degree, the "Order of Danylo Halytsky."

The Head of State wished the awardees, their families, and loved ones security, health, and all Ukrainians victory.
