As a result of anti-terrorist and counter-sabotage measures in the Chernihiv region, two more caches of ammunition, left by the invaders, were disclosed

The appropriate measures are carried out with the participation of representatives of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Police, and explosives technicians of the scientific-research expert-criminological center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

In particular, in an abandoned building in one of the villages of the Semenivka community, an interagency group disclosed an anti-tank guided missile ‘Fagot’, three mortar mines of caliber 120 mm, an equipped magazine for an automatic grenade launcher AGS-17. They were carefully hidden under one of the walls behind the paneling.

On the outskirts of one of the villages of the Mykhailo-Kotsyubynsk territorial community, an interdepartmental group disclosed a cache during an inspection of the area where the invaders were setting up their positions. Among the finds there were almost 1,200 small arms ammunition of 7.62 and 12.7 mm, as well as 30 ammunition for 20 mm guns. The fact that they belonged to the invaders from the army of the aggressor country is confirmed by the elements of uniforms with the symbols of the russian federation found nearby and the traditional food of the russians in packages with the image of a star. After examination by experts, suitable ammunition will be handed over to units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, and unusable ammunition will be destroyed.

In general, more than 20 caches of weapons and ammunition, hidden by the russian occupiers, were disclosed in the border areas of Chernihiv oblast after the de-occupation of the region.
