A citizen of Ukraine arrived at the Novi Yarylovychi border crossing point to leave Ukraine in a Volvo truck with Ukrainian registration.

Border guards of the operational-search unit had information that the 63-year-old driver could secretly transport goods to Belarus. In addition, his truck was already in the sight of law enforcement officers, as border guards had found an empty hiding place during previous border crossings.

Therefore, based on the results of a thorough inspection of the design features of the truck, a joint border customs inspection team found a wide range of spare parts for metal and wood processing machines in the amount of almost 1,700 units in the hiding place under the bottom of the trailer.

Customs officers seized the found items and drew up a report on violation of customs rules.
