In terms of specific measures implementation on border security strengthening and combating illegal migration the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine personnel makes every effort to ensure law and order on the borders with EU countries.

In fact, during state border examination the border guards of “Velykyi Bereznyi” border guard division (of Chop border guard detachment) apprehended two men illegally attempting to get to Slovakia. One of the offenders said he was a native of Nigeria, the other one - from Guinea.

Besides, the rapid response team of “Chop” division apprehended two Georgians 200 meters far from the border. These men were following to Hungary along rail tracks. The travelers who tried to avoid border control didn’t have any documents along.

It will be recalled that last day, in the course of search activities border guards of Chop detachment using technical devices and with the help of search dogs, two groups of 6 and 27 persons were detected and apprehended. All apprehended persons were citizens of Afghanistan and Syria.

It should also be noted that border guards of Chop detachment haven’t apprehended such large groups of irregular migrants since last 5 years.
