Thus, on May 27, 2021, during the implementation of information from the operational and investigative unit of the Donetsk border detachment, a joint interagency group consisting of border guards, SSU officers and SFS “Phantom” stopped a car on the outskirts of Mariupil.

During the inspection of the vehicle law enforcement officers found more than 7 thousand packs of tobacco products with excise tax stamps with signs of forgery. The mentioned counterfeit goods were planned to be sold both in Mariupil and throughout the region.

Preliminary evaluation of the detected counterfeit is more than 350,000 hryvnia. Its origin is being identified.
