During the day, within the framework of the "Rubizh 2022" measures, border guards of the Mukachevo and Chernivtsi Detachments detained 14 citizens of Ukraine from different regions of the country who intended to illegally get to Romania and Mold

In particular, a minibus with five citizens liable for call-up was stopped by operatives together with servicemen of the Diakove Division on the outskirts of the village of Tekovo. The passengers, who were carrying backpacks with personal belongings and documents, admitted that they were trying to illegally cross the border. Operatives of the Mukachevo Detachment found out that the detainees in various ways tried to find the organizers of illegal transfers to the EU, using the services offered by the offenders in social networks. Having paid to their "marketers" the sums from 2,500 to 4,000 dollars, the men received "instructions" on further actions, as a result of which they would get to the neighboring country. Currently, the circle of persons involved in the smuggling of men liable for military service across the state border is being established.

In addition, the minibus with passengers was also stopped for inspection by operatives of the Chernivtsi Detachment together with the patrol of the Sokyriany Division. Inside the vehicle, there were two men of military age who were heading to the border with Moldova. Later, three more citizens liable for call-up were detained at the site of the same division. In addition, border guards of the Kelmentsi and Hertsa Divisions detained four more offenders.

In all cases, the offenders were taken to border guard units to be brought to administrative responsibility, military commissariats and representatives of the National Police were informed.
