The counting of smuggled cigarettes, which were recently discovered by border guards of the Ovruch border guard division working jointly with customs officers on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border, has been completed.

In total, the border guards took 98.5 thousand packs of cigarettes made in Belarus from a truck.

The driver-smuggler also had a truck with a semi-trailer, which he used for transporting cigarettes, and a load of lumber boards, among which the tobacco products were hidden. They were confiscated. The total estimate of the seized property is UAH 2.402 million.
