The State Border Guard Service held an annual mandatory inspection of experts performing tasks of air monitoring of the state border of Ukraine.

The annual mandatory inspection of the personnel of  Chernihiv, Podilsk and Kherson borderguard detachments has been completed on the basis of the Training Center for the use and operation of unmanned aerial systems of the Main Center of Personnel Training of the State Border Guard Service.

During the inspection, borderguards confirmed the required level of knowledge on the purpose, capabilities and tactical and technical characteristics of unmanned aerial vehicles MP-1 “Spectator-M”. Considerable attention was also paid to confirming the knowledge of documents on the organization and implementation of state aviation flights, the requirements of air navigation, meteorological and ornithological support of flights.

During the practical classes, the staff confirmed the level of practical skills in developing and recording the route of the UAV flight, takeoff, flight along the route (monitoring the state border and border infrastructure); inspection of a certain area (search for violators or signs of illegal activity); accompanying the identified violator and directing a border patrol at him.

Using samples of modern equipment in official activities, the State Border Guard Service provides reliable protection of the state border of Ukraine.
