With the support of the Ministry of Defense of Spain, medical units of the State Border Guard Service learn to utilize mobile medical complexes.

Ukrainian border guards have started training at the Spanish Air and Space Forces base in Saragossa on deploying a mobile field hospital. Participants will subsequently set up mobile modules, configure equipment, and establish communication systems to provide high-quality medical assistance. These components of mobile medical complexes can be used as stabilization points and field hospitals with operating, manipulation, laboratory, and diagnostic rooms, as well as serving as stationary medical facilities.

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine is undergoing reforms and modernization in accordance with EU and NATO standards. This includes enhancing the capabilities of medical support units. After returning to Ukraine, the participants of the training will apply the knowledge and experience gained using mobile complexes in Ukraine, particularly in the areas near the frontlines.

It is worth noting that the Spanish government and people provide significant assistance to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, particularly in strengthening the treatment and rehabilitation capabilities for Ukrainian soldiers. Among other things, the Ukrainian border guard agency received a substantial quantity of medications, surgical equipment, generators, and transportation vehicles, including a bus for the transportation of the wounded. Several dozen border guards received medical treatment and prosthetics in Spain. During his recent visit to Ukraine, the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Spain, Pedro Sanchez, visited a medical facility of the State Border Guard Service, where he met with injured border guards.
