Since November 12, 2013 at the Russian-Ukrainian state border the customs service representatives of the Russia will begin implementation of measures on transit compliance ensuring of goods imported into the customs territory of the Customs Union. Previously, such innovations were introduced at the border crossing points at the Russian-Ukrainian border within the Luhansk and Donetsk regions. According to new rules, at the border crossing points for checking goods and vehicles carriers will need to provide the necessary certificates for entering the territory of the Russian Federation.
