Operational officers of Lutsk Border Guard Detachment, together with the police, found shotguns in the house of Volyn dweller that he kept illegally.

As part of the criminal proceedings under Article 263 of the Criminal Code "Illegal Handling of Weapons, Military Supplies or Explosives", a joint interdepartmental group consisting of employees of the State Border Service and the National Police conducted an authorized search in the home of a resident of Kamen-Kashyrskyi district. 

As a result of the measures taken, law enforcement officers found smoothbore and rifled shotguns, as well as 86 rounds of 5.6 mm caliber ammunition in the house of a 47-year-old man. Volyn resident did not have any documents for these guns.

What was found was seized by the National Police in accordance with the established procedure.
