During border control training, Main Centre specialists teach cadets how to register information in departmental databases regarding persons, vehicles, and cargoes crossing the state border of Ukraine.

At Main Personnel Training Centre of the State Border Guard Service during the border guard tactics course, category II junior border guard inspectors continue to actively master the organization of different types of border patrols. In particular, the inspectors study the use of weapons, special means and physical coercion measures while on duty at border patrols.

During the lessons the border guards also consider in detail: stopping a vehicle by damaging it, preventing the escape of a person detained for violating the state border, the repulsion of an armed attack and the incursion of armed military groups and criminal gangs into the territory of Ukraine. In addition, there are simulations of various situations that may arise at the state border, during which young inspectors independently assess the situation and decide on the lawful use of weapons, special means and physical coercion measures.
