In Sumy Oblast, border guards conducted a selection of candidates for the training of junior commanders.

Junior commanders are the basis of any military unit. Military discipline, military order and military training are based on them, and the military team is based on them.

Taking into account the challenges and threats associated with the full-scale invasion of russia into Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine continues to systematically reform and rearm according to EU and NATO standards. In order to protect and defend the Ukrainian border more effectively, the border detachment organized and conducted the selection of candidates for further training and training of junior commanders.

So far, the candidates have passed the selection process, which includes a test of knowledge in a professional field, a test of knowledge of the Ukrainian language, as well as taking tests for physical and fire training.

Direct training of junior commanders will begin soon under the appropriate training program.

Acquired knowledge, skills and abilities will certainly be needed for successful performance of assigned tasks.
