Special forces of the Rapid Response Border Command are being trained within the JMTG-U (Joint Multinational Training Ukrainian Group) on the basis of International Centre for Peacekeeping and Security at Petro Sahaidachnyi National Army Academy.

RRBC officers are trained to make military decisions according to NATO standards (MDMP).

After receiving a combat order, the headquarters officers work out several variants for the unit's actions and draw these variants with the help of a military map training.

After evaluating the advantages and possible losses of the unit, the main course of action is approved, which is modelled in the JCATS simulation system.

JCATS enables to model tactical actions in different areas and work out training and combat tasks, determining their effectiveness.

This makes it possible to master new techniques and methods of combat operations and optimize the use of material and technical means and other resources necessary for the effective training of the unit.
