International training on rendering assistance to citizens crossing the Ukrainian-Polish border took place in Lviv region

The interaction of Ukrainian and Polish services in providing assistance to citizens waiting to cross the border was practiced at the BCP «Krakivets».

The work of the interagency coordination headquarters was organized there. The participants of the training practiced interaction between law enforcement officers, rescuers, local authorities in order to provide citizens with the opportunity to safely pass border control, shelter from bad weather and warm up under any circumstances.

Borderguards of the Lviv detachment, representatives of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the National Police, the Lviv Regional Military Administration, the State Fire Service of the Republic of Poland and international humanitarian and public organizations took part in the training.

In the frame of the training, Ukrainian borderguards demonstrated the functioning of the mobile software and hardware complex for automation of border control «Gart 1/P», which will be used in case of increasing of passenger traffic. This complex ensures the deployment in the shortest possible time of two workplaces for border control inspectors to check documents.

Representatives of the Border Guard of the Republic of Poland joined the participants of the training via videoconference, who reported that in the first days of the full-scale invasion of russia into Ukraine they had worked out an effective mechanism for simplified entry of a large number of citizens and are ready to implement it in the future.
