During the day, border guards from Chop and Lviv Detachments detained two groups of illegal migrants near the state border.

In one case, near the village of Onokivtsy, Uzhgorod oblast, border guards found a glove left on the ground near the barrier fence. Border guards with service dogs immediately began searching for possible offenders. Later, the patrol found the woman and six other foreigners. The “travelers” introduced themselves as Indian citizens. Six of the seven had temporary residence permits in Ukraine, but some of the permits had expired.

In order to prosecute and clarify all the circumstances of the offense, the foreigners were taken to the border unit. After identification, they will be prosecuted.
