The man planned to transfer the slacker across the state border outside the BCPs for a reward.

Kharkiv resident, who organized the scheme of illegal transportation of persons across the Ukrainian-Slovak border, was served a notice of suspicion of committing a criminal offense.

In the framework of this criminal case, a joint interagency group consisting of officers of the Internal Security Department of the Chop Border Guard Detachment, officers of the Strategic Investigation Department in Zakarpattia region, the Investigation Department of the Main Office of the National Police in Zakarpattia region, under the procedural control of the Zakarpattia Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the military and defense sphere of the Western region, detained another resident of Kharkiv region for giving an undue advantage in the amount of $ 500 to a serviceman of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. The offender, on the instructions of the organizer, hoped that in exchange for this money the serviceman would provide him with information on the location of border patrols so that he could plan a route for illegal border crossing from Ukraine to Slovakia.

The border guard did not agree to this offer, and the bribe giver will be brought to justice.  Uzhhorod City and District Court has already passed a verdict and found the defendant guilty.

The investigation against the organizer continues.
