A 50-year-old Hungarian citizen tried to cross the Ukrainian-Hungarian border with a stolen car. During border control, the Interpol database was activated on a car driven by a foreigner.

On this fact, the border guards of the Mukachevo BG detachment informed the Ukrainian Bureau of Interpol in Kyiv and received confirmation that the specified vehicle was stolen in France in October 2020.

The vehicle was handed over to the National Police in accordance with the established procedure.
