During the operational and preventive measures Rubizh – 2022 the border guards of the Mukachevo detachment together with the National Police officers stopped the attempt of the illegally transportation across the border of a conscript man.

Offenses were revealed by the operatives of the Mukachevo detachment together with employees of the migration police and military personnel of the Luzhanka department as part of the criminal proceedings based on the materials of the main investigative department of the Mukachevo border guard detachment. During the activities on the outskirts of the village of Astei, at 500 meters from the border, the law enforcement officers stopped a car to check it. As it turned out, a woman a resident of Berehovo was transporting a 29-year-old resident of Kharkiv region.

Border guards established that the woman had agreed to transport her passenger to neighbouring Hungary for a cash reward of $2,500.

Currently, the woman faces criminal liability, which includes deprivation of liberty for a period of five to seven years.

The pre-trial investigation of the criminal proceedings is carried out by the investigators of the Mukachevo District Police Department of the National Police Headquarters in Zakarpattia region under the procedural guidance of the Mukachevo District Prosecutor's Office.
