Servicemen of the Dolsk border guard division of the Lutsk border guard detachment together with a four-legged partner found a man who got lost in the border area.

Border guards were informed about the missing resident of the village of Shlapan, Liubeshiv district by the National Police. His wife turned to the police and reported that her husband had left a fellow villager and was heading towards their house. However, more than two hours passed, and he didn’t return home.

Border guards joined the search for the missing person. The service dog took the trail and led the police to the forest, where they found the man.

As it turned out, the 32-year-old man was visiting a friend. When he was about to go home, he confused the direction of movement and got lost in the woods, where he was found by border guards and police. They took the man to the place of residence.
