Yesterday border guards of Chop Border Guard Detachment detected 7 citizens of Afghanistan during control operations at the railway station in the city of Uzhhorod.

During the check, it was found out that Afghan husband, wife and five children who arrived by train "Odesa-Uzhhorod" had overstayed in Ukraine and planned to leave our country and to get into the European Union.  

The Immigration Service prepared case materials on the revealed Afghan citizens according to the administrative offense provided by Part 1 of Article 203.

It should be noted that most of the migrants detained by border guards near the western border of Ukraine come to Ukraine legally. And then they attempt to get into the EU by all possible means including illegal ones.
