The offenders planned to commit a crime at night, but the border guards were on guard!

As a result, on the outskirts of the village of Verbovets, Vynogradiv District, in Transcarpathia, the border guards of the Mukachevo detachment, in the course of implementing the information received from the officers of the operational and investigative department, stopped the illegal activity of moving tobacco contraband with the help of drones.

Eleven kilometers from the state border, the border guards of the "Vylok" department, together with the operatives of the detachment, discovered the take-off place of "air" smugglers, where there were three aircraft-type drones, replaceable batteries for them, control panels and a laptop with the flight route marked on it, as well as three packages of tobacco products without excise stamps.

Border guards also detained a dealer who was trying to deliver contraband tobacco to Romania. Regarding the detection of crime signs oin his actions, the border guards sent a report to the National Police.
