As part of the "March 2023" operational and preventive measures, law enforcement officers detained 10 border violators.

Seven men who are restricted from leaving Ukraine during mobilization due to age were stopped on the Ukrainian-Romanian section. In particular, two residents of Transcarpathia and one from Mykolaiv were detained by border guards from the "Tyachiv" unit jointly with operatives from the Mukachevo unit and employees of the National Police, just 15 meters from the border. Another three Transcarpathians were reportedly detained by a border patrol from the "Hyzha" unit, according to a local resident. A Donetsk native was detained by a border patrol from the "Dilove" unit.

Two Transcarpathian residents attempted to illegally cross into Hungary. They were apprehended by border guards from the "Luzhanka" unit in conjunction with SBU personnel.

Another Mykolaiv resident was detained by military personnel from the "Uzhhorod" unit of the Chop border guard detachment on the border with Slovakia.

Protocols were drawn up against those detained for attempting to cross the state border of Ukraine illegally. Measures are being taken to identify individuals who are likely involved in organizing illegal border crossings.
