The other day, as part of the investigation of the drug dealing case, law enforcement officers conducted a series of searches in the Odesa region

In private households in the settlements of Podilsk and Lymanske, operatives of the Podilsk border detachment, together with employees of the Department of Combating Narcotic Crime of the National Police of Ukraine, discovered drugs and weapons.

In particular, according to the results of the searches, the law enforcement officers found more than 20 bushes (about 20 kg) and more than a kilogram of a substance of vegetable origin, most likely marijuana and various accessories for packing narcotic substances.

In order to protect themselves and their ‘business’ the perpetrators kept a hunting rifle, a starting pistol, modified for firing live cartridges and cartridges for weapons, as well as an F1 grenade at their households.

The findings have been removed, urgent investigative actions are ongoing.

The measures were conducted under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor General's Office within the framework of criminal proceedings.
