Anti-terrorist exercises were held in the Kherson region, the participants of which performed tasks on search and neutralization of a conditional sabotage-terrorist group.

Representatives of the State Border Guard Service, the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Police, the Patrol Police, the National Guard, the Armed Forces, the State Emergency Service and the State Special Communications Service, different state and local authorities and other anti-terrorist institutions took part in the planned tactical and special exercises conducted by the Coordination Group of the Antiterrorist Center at the regional department of the Security Service of Ukraine. The purpose of the exercises was to increase the level of interdepartmental cooperation in combating sabotage and terrorist threats. Working out of educational tasks was carried out in the conditions close to real ones.

According to the training legend, conditional terrorists arrived in the town of Henichesk to carry out sabotage in crowded places and disrupt the work of important state facilities in the region: a telecommunication tower on the outskirts of Chongar village, Genichesk district and Novooleksiivka railway station. Thanks to the coordinated and effective actions of law enforcement and the military servicemen, the conditional saboteurs were detained, the danger was neutralized.

The Coordination Group of the Antiterrorist Center carefully analyzed each stage of the training, noting the high level of preparation and readiness of the participants to perform the tasks related to the prevention of terrorist threats and sabotage.
