At the Bachivsk border crossing point an the border with Russia, border guards of the Sumy border guard detachment in cooperation with customs officers revealed a collection of Swiss watches.

While inspecting a Mercedes Sprinter minibus, a border guard used a metal detector in one of the bags in the luggage compartment to reveal a collection of watches marked by well-known Swiss brands: 6 ROLEX watches and 2 RICHARD MILLE watches.

The 46-year-old driver, a Moldovan citizen, explained to police that the bag was handed over to him by an unknown person in Moscow, which he had to deliver to Moldova. He allegedly knows nothing about the goods revealed in it.

All the circumstances of the goods movement are being clarified.
